CROWDED - a new ongoing from Image about a world 10 minutes in the future. Everyone works for apps and the share economy, including Vita, a bodyguard working thru Dfend — a protection sharing app.
Her client is Charlie Ellison, a normal lady whose campaign on Reapr — a crowdfunding site for assassinations — has already raised over a million dollars from thousands of backers who want her dead for some reason. Anyone with a weapon and a cameraphone can kill Charlie and collect the Reapr rewards.
They’ll have to survive the next 30 days together without getting killed or killing each other.

CROWDED is a near-future road-trip thriller about a young woman who woke up to a million dollar Kickstarter of death hanging over her head, and the last-chance bodyguard she hired to protect her.
Written by Chris Sebela, line art by @unassumingpumpkin and me, colours by Tríona Farrell, and letters by Cardinal Rae.

@unassumingpumpkin and I felt obliged to make a cover mock-up for The Adventure Zone’s great first story arc. Such a marvellous show; hopefully we’ll do more!
So we made a thing! Might make a process post later going from thumbnails through to ink…if I remember.

So I don’t usually do this, but I have a comic recommendation for people.
I recently was given the opportunity to read the first issue of The Once and Future Queen (perks of being pals with the writer). A highly enjoyable first issue which promises to lead into a thrilling and fun tale as it continues.
I definitely recommend it for those of you who have enjoyed Raven: Pirate Princess - it’s action packed, featuring a Sapphic WOC main character who wields a sword and is an avid chess player.
I don’t particularly want to go into detail on what happens, as I think that would just spoil the read, but I do urge people to preorder their copies as I think there are a lot of you out there who will really have fun with this book.
The Once and Future Queen is brought to you by the team who made the IDW series Amelia Cole, and is out on March 1st, published by Dark Horse.
